The lyrics connected, the live show devastated, and the four years of blood, sweat and tears the guys had put into their band paid off in 2002 when several powerhouse indie record labels came knocking, eager to expose Throwdown to a wider group of people. Throwdown truly found their voice, both literally and figuratively, with Haymaker. The songs on the band s Trustkill Records debut, most notably the MTV2 Headbanger s Ball staple Forever, were the next logical step forward for the band, who rightly elected to elevate their status beyond project into a full-time touring machine. That the time Throwdown spent on the road with Lamb Of God, As I Lay Dying and Norma Jean had gelled the lineup into a bludgeoning force firing on all cylinders. In 2005 Throwdown released Vendetta went on non-stop 2 year tour around the world headlining and supporting Sound of the Underground, In Flames, Soulfly, Ozzfest, Download Festival, Warped tour. Now in 2007 the non-stop Throwdown machine are back! Firing on all cylinders the band hit the studio with producer Mudrock (Avenged Sevenfold) to fulfill their creative war path what will undoubtedly go down as one of the heaviest records of 2007!
